At first I thought college wouldn’t be that hard but as the classes start I started to think that college is not as easy as I think before. My mind started saying that “What the heck it’s only the first week but there’s so much assignment to do”.
So here it is my first week experience at Feu Tech….
DAY 1: START OF CLASSES
first day of school of course I’m pretty nervous because I’ve never been into a big university and I’m sorta afraid of talking to anyone because to be honest im an introvert guy, but luckily i made friends a week before the class start so the first thing i did is find them and i did so after minutes of talking it’s finally time to go to the classroom and I’m pretty excited to see how the professor teach, but the first thing we did was to introduced ourselves after introducing I’m impress at my classmates on the way they express theirself on why they took BSCSSE as their degree program it’s the same thing we did in all classes just introducing ourselves and orientating us about their rules and grading system.
DAY 2: THE KICK OFF
At first i didn’t know that there will be a kickoff at school which is a party and at that point I’m kinda excited at it because at my old school we don’t have any party but it do have many events that mainly for freshmens.
they said that the kickoff will be starting at 12 o’clock on the main building of feu so we got there at 11:30 and we lined up for the checking of student number because somehow they do need it to check if we were really are a student at feu after checking we proceeded inside and I’m amazed how big the stadium is and it’s pretty dark and cold inside it’s like when you’re in a cinema, that’s how i felt, as we find our seats it’s pretty loud inside because the higher year are screaming their organization name like crazy and I’m kinda amaze at there confidence so after one hour of waiting the kick off finally started and after 2hours of them singing, dancing and orienting us about the organization of the school it ended well.
DAY 3: HOLIDAY
it’s holiday but the things is there’s so much assignment to do so i spend my wholeday doing my assignment but of course i also did my routine which is eating, listening to music and of course watching anime.
DAY 4: RUSH
It’s the day that i almost got late in our class because i woke up at 6:21am and to think that my first subject is 7am i rushingly get off from my bed and do my routine, thankfully I got to school at time and it’s kinda hard because i didn’t eat breakfast so yeah.
At that day all our professor started to teach about the courses that we are into. Our first course which is intro to computing(lab), like a said I didn’t take breakfast so I’m pretty dizzy but i manage to keep up on the lesson which our professor is talking about.
after almost 3hours of lesson we finally have a vacant so i join with my friends and we eat lunch at the canteen, the whole day ended up well and i learn much from my professors.
DAY 5: THE UNIFORM
It is wash day which means we all can wear our feu shirt, but unfortunately i forgot that, that day is wash day so i wore my school uniform and I’m kinda embarrassed when i entered the room because all of my classmate is wearing t-shirt and I’m the only one in school uniform, that day we also have our pe class and I’m pretty nervous because when we got to the gym there’s a notice at the door that saying “leather shoes is not allowed inside” and i don’t have extra shoes but luckily it was canceled due to the fact there were no administrator and there were assigned pe orientation for all courses and we aren’t belong to it so it’s the end of the class and it’s only 1pm at that time so some of us decided to go home but some of us stayed because there’s also an event in the university.
Based on my first week experience I can say that college life won’t be that easy but still it is manageable…..
